Perplex Peplums

Ok, so were seeing this all over right? If you ask me it sounds like a fruit. They are quite Perplex to master but if you do, you really will achieve a really classy but cute look. So it always comes down to the body shape. I'm not going to go into apple, pear banana pineapple because quite frankly I think we always change and add Peplum to the mix and hellllllllllllllooo...were confused.

Slim / Tall

Ok, so what do we notice here. Super leggy. The placement of material going outwards is just on the stomach. These blessed girls not only accentuate their toned selves but also have the placement on a common girl problem area...the stomach.  The trick with this is you can wear this style if your curvy too, but the placement off the Peplum should be a tad bit higher...if you want to risk it and your extremely tall.

Curvy / Short

Queen of Curves

I mean who else did you expect. She is the best example as a really curvacious and short woman she has do have her clothes precise to the tee. Try and stick to seperates. They will scrunch less on a curvy body. On the first two pictures, you can see she has cleavage. This gives the top more shape and less fuss, we don't need two melons to be added to the already perplex peplums. If your busty, find something more open at the top. The last picture shows a bit of a lift at the front, this will give you longer legs. The Peplum bit of the top also is quite out there unlike the slimmer girls dresses. This is so your bum and assuming you've slimmer legs can be accentuated giving you a lovely shape. Add heels and Voila. We go from fruit to smoooooooooooooooth(ie). A cool and tasteful look for any occasion or season.

Uneven shape/ curvier legs

No, I've not a crazy cow putting Mrs.VB on my most curvacious girls subtitle. She is actually one woman who will do anything to look extremely slim. Oh, yeah your thinking...convinced.

Anyway, this is called the flared skirt and it doesn't come under Peplum but it does the job well and truely. Finding a skirt with the hem at the bottom will actually look really ladylike. To make it more intresting find a top thats Peplum but at the right place, and has elements of the curvy/short section. Take a skinny or even thick belt to go that extra mile. Add black tights with black shoes or nude with bare legs.

The last picture is my favourite, this gives you coverage in the middle and coverage on your legs but so fashionable. This is Jil Sander so if youd rather have a cheap version make it! Lightly rouched in the middle and your done. i would also wear a printed or vertica lined top just do give it that extra shazam.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Wear a print to shift attention to your best features. Roll up sleeves to show slender parts of your arms.

(I've noticed the random miniscule writing on my other posts, an error won't let me edit it! Meanwhile just Zoom in =P)

Wedges - NewLook

The biggest challenge for fashionable girls is being short. Being one of them I'd like to share a few points. Heels make such a difference, I can go from the casual girl next door to Miss. Ten foot tall. I recommend these tips if your under 5'4.

Massive Wedges underneath worn in the park! Trust me they are stable
Wedges
We all know heels add height. But Industry professionals call them a sex object. We can link that phrase to being a sex object because we look better with heels. But what is it actually doing for us. From my experience these are things I've noticed.

  • Bigger Backside - Tiptoe and you'll see
  • Leg length - They will make you taller of course, but they will make tone your thighs and make them leaner
  • Brighter face - Now this is one of my favourties. When I'm not wearing heels, more shadows are caused on my face, creating the illusion of less even makeup, and showing up bags and other imperfections. When you put a pair on, you will instantly be closer to lighting. Give it a go right now!
  • Edge - They make ou strut, instantly making you look more fashionable, confident and sexy. You can wear the simplest thing but look the most coolest if you just put a pair of heels on.
  • Slimming - My faaaav reason for wearing heels. You will literally look so much slimmer its amazing.
  • Scientifical Fact - Taller people get better pay, achieve attention and are emotionally more stabled!
RECOMMENDATIONS
We need something that will go with all kinds of outfits. We have busy young lives. We drive, eat, work, talk and walk all at the same time. So I would recommend to go with the classic look. I would invest in shoes -right now- because they are in trend. The Wedge. Stop thinking about a beachy wedge of of cheap straw. I'll make sure you only buy the best.

Believe me, these shoes will stand out. Suade instantly gives a texture to your outfit as we dont wear alot of suade clothing. What these will do to you is show your not afraid of colour, they are fresh, and stand out more then black believe it or not. They look high,  but there is a platform inside the shoe that should take care of any wobbles. The strap at the top should also give an enormous amount of support, thus the reason for the high heel. The best bit about this shoe is the design. The space showing your foot is like flashing. It triggers the mind to think 'ooo aye'.
(£29.99 - NewLook - Also in Black)

Vintage never gets old. This is a more classic take on the wedge. If you like having an intresting look or you own lots of cute dresses, this shape should be your best friend. The tilt at the front is because it is almost the same as walking in flats. If you look carefully in the middle of the shoe you can see how much you will be on a tilt. But even when on a tilt, your not balancing due to the full wedge unlike the ones above which is a heel.
(£34.99 - NewLook - Also in Deep Red and Black)

Dream shoes! I bought these myself and to be honest they are one of my best purchases. The leapord design never goes out of fashion but it is also a different way of wearing them. You can wear them in the bright sun, the freezing cold and in day or night. They look huge but they work the magic points I've mentioned before. They have a hidden platform so you won't be falling over dont worry. The width of the heel and the fact they are ankle boots also will make it easier to wear. There is also a funky gold zip at the side.
(£20.00 NewLook)

The Kardashians is a family who we all know, know how to dress for their size. And that will be coming in the next post
Edit: After being featured in Fusion Magazine this will be a very special feature which like all things good, you'll have to wait a little time until I'm back from my Haitus :P

Boys II Men

Helloooooo....No you havn't ended up on the bands age 50+ only exclusive fan club for the band. But I've come across something quite intresting. Were all guilty of wearing mens items be it skinny ties, our boyfriends oh so cute with my new shoes blazer or simply an acessory. But some of us shy away from this money saving sneaky 'looking smokin' effortlessy masculine but paired with our natural feminity' tactic. So im going to show you how to pull it off with a bit of help from no other than.........Boys II Men!

No, i didn't expect you to find wild colours of fruit in your boyfriends cupboard, but many vintage and charity shops will. If your really going to man up, go for bowties from your grandad or your dads stash in the attic. Socks (Not the grubby old ones please) with ankle boots can also look amazing peeping just above ur ankles giving your edgy look some softer finishes.
Try colours from opposite ends of the spectrum. It will stand out amazing in this dull sunlight. You will end up with vivid and wild colours but don't be scared; citric colours are great too. Work it like Rihanna. Pare with nude shoes if you feel uncomfortable but I'd advise you to switch to metallic coloured shoes if your going to rock this..go the full way, be a sorbet ;)

A FEW HUES
Cheeky Chic

Amy Winehouse - Collab with Fred Perry
The ultimate geek chics do it again. A popular trend..back to school for grownups. Except this time, WE CHOOSE what we wear and how we wear it (us british folk anyways) :) The sunglasses are bang on for the summer to shade us (intended pun) from the rays of light we've been praying for all winter long. I've spotted creeping up the round Mr.K.Kellogs style. Get a pair before everyone else and to avoid looking like you've got your siblings shades try a bigger version, or mens. This trend i admit is old news i admit..but thats EXACTLY why i choose it. Elements of it such as the glasses and shoes with laces is what you should take from this trend. An oversized cardgian will let the rest of your body seem slim, lean and sexy & gives lots of movement when walking...or strutting. Your strutting really dont lie :P

I see you...
